My new favorite Tex-Mex spot. My husband has been trying to take me here for a while. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, I thought it was similar to a Tijuana Flats. It was, but bigger and a full service restaurant. The decor inside was really pretty and colorful. The service was great! We were sat at a booth and our waitress was quick and friendly.I of course ordered a margarita for $8, it wasn’t too bad, kind of on the tart side though. We ordered the firecracker for an appetizer, that’s essentially jalapeo poppers. It was piping hot but so good, jalapeos stuffed with cream cheese and deep fried with a side of raspberry jelly. I ordered the Latino Chino entree which came with skirt steak and mashed potatoes. So good and so flavorful; I think the sauce was some sort of sweet teriyaki. The mashed potatoes were so flavorful. My husband ordered the loaded burrito and that looked amazing with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa. You bet we will be coming back! Great food and service!
