Tooo slooooowww. They are ALWAYS backed up and it is never full. Maybe if they get a 2nd chef or a better one maybe they could be a busier restaurant. But the food is mediocre not even good. I live around the corner and would rather drive 10 minutes for faster service. Half hour for one roll is ridiculous!!!!!!
The Best on the Planet.. I’ve gone to this restaurant for the past 2 years or so, and to say that this place truly cares and thinks about their customer’s first would be a drastic understatement. The wonderful owner and his family makes sure that the customers are sastified with their service, and they go out of their way to make sure of that. I was given the opportunity to go back and thank them personally, and I’m surprised on how such little staff can consistently give quality and almost sinfully delicious food. I haven’t ordered any thai food from anywhere else, because they really work hard around here.The best part about this place probably is the sushi. Oakie, the magical sushi man, who can make you a rool like no other, and Ying who cooks the best Thai food on the planet. Why would you go anywhere else in Coral Springs if they’re only going to give you subpar food and service. The best place is Tobu Thai and Sushi.
The choice is subjective. I’m honest, the food is great quality, but do you want to be nickel and dimed for it, or go down the street to Saito’s or Benihana for even better quality and more food for your money? The owner is soooo cheap and stingy with the food. I understand business and that they need to make a profit, but my gosh they are the worst!!! The restaurant is super dirty too and there is never customers in there. Now I know why.
Tobu is hidden in Turtle Run plaza so you have to do some searching before you can try the food. This place is a small family owned restaurant. If you want to try a new sushi restaurant or Thai then try Tobu. The sushi is fresh, very large portion size, great flavors, and did I mention large rolls yet? The sushi rolls are bigger than the average quarter size. I’m not exaggerating their sushi rolls, they are practically double the regular size rolls you always find from other sushi restaurants. Their Thai food selections are also amazing. The fried rice is seasoned perfectly,not dry, very big portion size. If you like mildly sweet, then try the Pad Thai. It is slightly sweet and has amazing flavors. The service they provide is great, they do get backed up a lot to big orders but the food is amazing so it is worth the wait. Want great flavors, more food for your buck, then try Tobu. You will not be disappointed.
Absolutely the finest sushi and Thai Ofood! We drive from Davie, passing many Thai restaurants so we can enjoy the authentic and great food here! Small but friendly and accommodating staff! Makes us feel at home and based on the large great portions, and food quality the prices are very good!
Fantastic Sushi and Thai food. I been going to Tobu for over 3 years now, and yet I still haven’t been tired of their food! I always get the usual sushi rolls such as Spicy Crab, Spicy Tuna, J.B. Tempura, Volcano Roll, etc! So many to name and yet they’ll so delicious!! I love the Pad Thai too and the Chicken Fried Rice is amazing!! Sometimes it takes them a bit long to bring out the food, but its worth the wait! It’s a family owned business, very nice people. I tried many sushi places and this place is worth the money and portion size! The rice is nice and soft and very seasoned. Other places have tiny sushi rolls, like its for kids or something. The rolls here at Tobu. I have to bite it twice for me to finish it! If you want to try out a new place for sushi or thai food. This IS THE PLACE TO GO!
GREAT SUSHI!! BEST IN CORAL SPRINGS!! I’ve gone here for yrs. Great family that owns it, they are very nice ppl. Wish they would get more business, but they are a hidden gem. they make great food, Ive tried many of there rolls, my fav is the three amigos roll. BIG bang for your BUCK. No wimpy rolls here they are HUGE.
