Customer service. This has been my go to chinese restaurant since they opened. I do only eat chinese about every 3 months or so. I am not overly picky about my food and I am alson not the kind of person who tries to get something for free. But I do expect some quality in the food I order, and if there is a problem I would like it corrected without embarrassment and hassle. I placed an order for teriyaki beef sticks, and chicken and brocolli. I picked up my order, good it home, opened the teriyaki beef to find it more like beef jerky, way over cooked. We attempted to eat it, it was just horribly dry. The ones we ate off of ended up in the trash, there was one left, so I thought I would bring it back to show them what they sent out. Shouldn’t there be some kind of pride in your product, I would’ve never sent that out. So when I went back today, I showed them what they gave me, and they proceeded to speak to each other in chinese, then asked me what I wanted. I said I would like my money back, she tried to hand me $2, the teriyaki beef was $4.25 plus tax, and then when I said that’s not what I paid she said, well you’re only bringing one back. I told her the others ended up in the trash, she again spoke to the guy in Chinese and then handed me $4.25, I wasn’t going to argue over the tax. But to me the way they treated me was very unprofessional. I had something under cooked at another local restaurant, they not only happily remade it, but they also offered me a free dessert or something to make things better, which I refused since they were being so nice anyways. This place needs some lessons in customer service. I was willing to go back again yesterday, and even give the teriyaki beef another chance, but after going in there today, I don’t know if I will.
