When I travel my car just automatically pulls into the nearest Cracker Barrel for dinner. I think it’s something I must have programmed into navigation. Anyway, I love their pinto beans w/ the nondescript wads of bacon smothered over biscuits lathered with butter. In addition, I can’t bring myself to order any entree other than their 1/2 lb hamburger steak beneath a layer of sauteed onions. A little salt & pepper & I’m happy. The new raspberry ice tea is quite tasty, but a long time coming. The only suggestion I would make is to scrap the rule that ground beef has to be cooked to a MINIMUM doneness of medium (no pink, no red, no juiciness). This standard is non-negotiable at all CB’s that I know of. Every other kitchen in the world will grill it to order, i.e. the diner’s taste. I routinely order medium rare (pink) ground beef elsewhere & not gotten sick.

One of the better CB. The best Cracker Barrel I have been too.
Always consistent! Have never had an issue with the food or service quality. One of the best restaurants in crestview! The only issue is with the subtle inter staff fighting/strain, some of them seem to not get along. Same goes with some cashiers, one of the older ones can be rude.
Uncle Hershel’s is my favorite. I wish they had one in FWB. This is the place to go if you’ve got a big appetite and clean arteries. I have to drag my wife out of the gift shop. I’m not one much for trinkets.
Always good service. Located right off the I-10 ramp, so very busy during peak eating times.
