(My only fast food recommendation)Stop here for hot coffee and two ham biscuits at Hardee’s.This convincingly-almost-home-made biscuit is generously filled with a delectable salt-cured ham reminiscent of Virgina. Good now for several hours of interstate driving, you will make your way sated across the Mississippi River, beyond which — curiously– the few Hardees in that part of the US do not offer the ham biscuit on the menu. As a bonus, you will have achieved your sodium requirements for the month.
