We loved the food here. We are from Nebraska and came down to see family. We absolutely loved our visit! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Will for sure have to come back before we leave. Thank you guys for the great service and amazing food!
The was a great little place to get a hot dog. The owner was there and we met a bunch of really nice people. Will definitely go back when we are in the area again.
What a gem! Friendly service, and absolutely excellent food. I would never have imagined getting this excited over hot dogs, but wow, would I have been wrong. When we asked for suggestions, the coleslaw dog was recommended. I was told I’d be surprised – and I was; it was absolutely delicious. Spouse got the Philly cheesesteak and said it was also really good. We also shared an off-menu special of fries with feta that we’ll order again! We plan to go back soon and try their fish sandwich.
Best, quick food in Crestview and probably the best fries in Okaloosa county. Have visited this place on several occasions and have never been disappointed with the food, service or the hospitality that Bob, the owner, offers. Highly recommend. Ask Bob how many pounds of potatoes he has cooked since opening and the number will astound you. A must try and you will be a returning customer.

Very friendly staff!! The burger was perfect paired with cheese fries!! Fries are cut in house and done the old fashioned way…great taste!! First time here and will be back for more!
I have been in Crestview for almost 3 years now and have been meaning to go to The Hot Dog Shoppe for a long time. Finally went today with my husband, son and grandmother along with me. We all loved the food, it was so delicious! Its hard to find a good hot dog and they knock it out of the park! My husband loved his cheeseburger all the way and said it was one of the best burgers he ever had. Bob was funny and a delight to talk to, and is definitely passionate about what he does. We will definitely be frequent visitors!
