Had Valentine’s Day dinner at Samuel’s…..very very busy, but only had a 15 minute wait…..appetizer and dinner were served in a timely manner on such a busy night and were delicious. Our waitress, Shay, was terrific. She was very efficient on this hectic night and did it all with a smile!
Great food, small menu, friendly and attentive waitstaff, prices are a good value as well. The table seating is awkward for taller people and the hours of service are restrictive.
I can only muster up the desire to eat here about twice per year. While the food is in the top four restaurants in this food desert, the blaring country music and uncomfortable seating detracts from the food. They could play one twangy song and then alternate between soft pop and easy listening or they could just turn down the volume. We all like food. Not all of us can stand people whining about sweet tea and watermelon.
