A disappointing welcome from Chili’s. Friday afternoon my two friends and I went to Chili’s for lunch. We sat at a bar with two other people, two tables were occupied in the bar. There was a total of 11 people in the bar. We waited and never saw a bartender, my friend approached a waitress who had her back to us facing the kitchen, she excused herself four times before the girl turned around with an attitude and told her the bartender would be out. Finally, the bartender came behind the bar and went directly to her register. She did not greet us or apologize or greet us. We were ignored and she was 3 feet away! We left and went to Applebee’s directly across the parking lot, were greeted by a smiling waiter and a manager, and enjoyed our lunch . Chili’s was empty and there was a nice crowd in Applebee’s. Now I know why. Shame on Chili’s of Crystal River, some serious problems exist on this property. It just so happens that between myself and my two friends we have 90 years experience in the food industry. Corporate needs to make a visit to this property and clean house!!
