The food was delicious but the waitstaff were what earned my 5th star. Debi was so attentive and wonderful. She kept checking in on us. Happy hour drinks were a great value (and strong!), my steak was perfect, and I only wish I had TWO of those sweet potatoes.
We met friends for dinner. The food was outstanding. The only reason I didn’t give it a higher rating is because they pack you in like sardines. My husband was nearly elbowed in the face by the server trying to toss and serve salad to the party next to us. We won’t be back due to the cramped conditions. Aren’t there fire codes?
Place is going down hill. Had dinner with my family and my husband had ordered chicken. When he first got it, it was very underooked and the waitress qustioned if he really wanted to send it back. Of course he did he didn’t want salmonella, food poisoning, or anything else. She finally came back with it when the rest of us were done eating our dinner and this time it was burnt not to mention it was the same chicken he stuck his fork in that they put on the grill where they cook everyone else’s orders. I guess the tried to offset the black chicken with a slice of lemon and when he told her he didn’t want to eat a burnt chicken she just took it away with an attitude. There was no manager in sight, no apology, or anything. They charged us for the dinner my husband didn’t even eat! This Cody’s use to be decent but now if you don’t mind horrible customer service and feeling like your eating in a barn this is the place for you.
Charge 3.49 for a salad instead of fries!? Craziest thing I’ve ever heard! I’ve been in the restraunt buisness for over 10 years! Way to expensive for what you get… Wants to be a Texas Roadhouse but it’s not! Service is slower than a turtle!

BAD SERVICE AND TERRIBLE STEAKS. We went to Cody’s on Saturday Dec. 27, 2014 to have a steak lunch with our sons since they came home from the Northeast for the Holidays. It was around 1:00 pm and not very crowded, but we had to wait for a few minutes before we were seated. After we sat for almost 30 minutes, no one came to the table to check for drinks or show us the menu. I stopped a waitress serving next table to us and asked if she covered our table, she said NO. But a few minutes later she came back and said she could take our orders now. No explanation or apology, as if everything is fine. It was very unprofessional and not acceptable to us. We don’t want to say anything in front of our sons, so we went on to order.We ordered two Porterhouse T-bones (rare and medium), one rib-eye (medium rare), and one sirloin (medium). When they served our order, both the Porterhouse T-bones were tough and well done, the sirloin was tough to chew, and the rib eye had white membrane all over and you can hardly cut it with a steak knife. All our steaks were not cooked as we ordered and they were of poor quality. We were extremely disappointed to say the least and we kept quiet before our sons. One of our sons insisted on paying the tab and we left the restaurant in disgust. Once our sons went back to the Northeast, I called the restaurant and talked to the manage (James) about the incidence. He looked up our ticket and said he’ll look into it and someone will call us back. I got a call later on the day from another manager asking me about the ticket and serve’s name again and said he’ll call back. After that we have not heard anything back from the restaurant yet. It seems that they don’t know much about customers’ satisfaction nor they care much about customers complaint.I’ll update this review when I get a response from the restaurant later. In the mean time we and all of our friends shall stay away from this restaurant and find other dining places to visit.
Prime rib. Delicious! Cooked to perfection, 3 servings, all to order! One had loaded baked potato, one black beans and rice, the other dairy allergy..stripped baked! Happy hour drinks..top shelf margaritas, frozen and on the rocks!
