Went here for dinner hoping for a variety of local seafood. It’s mostly fish and some of it is farm raised. They do also have scallops, oysters, clams and shrimp. The fish selection was pretty good and did have a couple local wild caught varieties. There’s also a large variety of non seafood items on the menu. We started off with drinks and a deep fried crab stuffed mushroom caps appetizer. The drinks were made well and the appetizer was hot and tasty. I ended up getting a grilled red fish sandwich which was really good and large. I opted for the fries and slaw as a side. Got plenty of fries but only a small cup of slaw. Both were good though. My wife got the bacon burger. It was huge. She said she loved it. There was so much she couldn’t finish it. My father-in-law got scallops and said they were good as well. His plate was full of them. Service was timely and friendly. We sat outside which was nice. They had live music. The inside seemed a little dated. We were told the wait time was going to be 30-45 minutes but we were seated after about 10. I would eat here again if I was in the area.

Great Location – HIt and Miss On Food. I love going to Cracker’s because of it’s location. For goodness sake go outside and sit in the bar area so you can appreciate where you are! (don’t have to wait for a table there either!) The food CAN be really good, and it can also be pretty poor – there is no consistency. I have had the best shrimp I have ever had one day and then the very next day – not even completely fried.. Just stick with simple things, like the awesome burgers, and you can’t go wrong. Good prices on beer, decent Margareta’s – I’d pass on the Bloody Mary’s as just too plain. DO NOT BE IN A HURRY! You are not going to get in and out of here very fast. The location is what this place is about, everything else in quite mediocre (or awesome if it is a lucky day!)
