A remarkable little restaurant that is BIG on service!. My experience at Sal’s was nothing short of Fantastic. The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was impeccable. Christina is hands down the most wonderful waitress I have ever encountered in my many years of restaurant hopping. She is a gem who has a natural talent for the hospitality industry. The food was very tasty ( especially the bruschetta). I will be visiting Sal’s more often because it definitely has the perfect mix of flavor and remarkable service.
Great restaurant great service great food. We normally don’t write reviews and this is the first time and we felt obliged since each time we eat here we receive great food and great service. You really feel like they care about your experience there. On the way out we were greeted by the owner or manager named sonny and really made us feel at home. So overall everything was great and we frequent this local pizza place two to three times a week.
Mothers Day Blunder. On mothers day I decided to take the mothers in my life (out of all places) to Sal’s. They wanted to eat Italian and it was close. So my story begins with a the server who was great, he tried so hard to make the restaurant look good and tend to our every requests. We ordered a Greek pizza and I know my ingredients when it comes to pizzas and such. This pizza was so unbearably SALTY that we could not eat it. We told the manager via the server and he said that it was the CHEESE. So I gave him the benefit of the doubt and ordered a completely different pie. We ordered the new yorker, well as you may know this pie did not have feta cheese or olives and yet it was extremely salty also. The manager came out and didn’t charge us for the one pizza but he did charge for one of the pizzas…(not cool because we did not eat any of the pizzas)plus gratuity which we left the server some extra cash because he was great. I was so frustrated i had to go outside. NEVER WILL I EVER SET FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW. There you go. I hope everyone learns from this….
Excellent. The pizza was awesome. The breads are incredible. I will be returning to this place.
1st Visit. I stopped in to get some take out and the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Greek Pizza and it was very good. i wish they had a bar though. Staff was quick to offer up a nice Peroni with a glass while I waited for my order. I will be back, many times.
It was average at best. The Italian food is definitely American-Italian, with things like fettucini Alfredo filling the menu. The cream of spinnach soup was luke warm and watery. The tilapia special was just average. The service was great, but the included 15% gratuity for a party of 2 stunk of bad management, although excusable given that the restaurant is in the middle of the hood. Overall, forgetable fining experience, unlikely to go back.
Great food and service for the price,house salad very good & veal.Great place to eat at before a movie at the Regal.
