Milanesa, shrimp quesadillas, enchiladas were good. Biggest problem are the chips. They were very thick and a bit overdone. So that ruined the nachos and the flautas. So if you stay away from food that use them you are good.
No Tex-Mex Here. Growing up in Texas I have a pretty good feel for great Mexican food…..though I do enjoTex Mex I LOVE real authentic Mexican food and that is exactly what you get at Del Carmen.I had the lunch special with beef sope, beef taco and a chicken flauta….all world class.The chicken had great flavor and the food is not all about salt which I detest. Also had side of retried beans which were fantastic…..The salsa rojo was so fresh and tasty but by far the best salsa verde I have ever had and I am a versa verde snob.Prices are more than fair….Highly reccommend!

Del carmen is a great store. I like del Carmen, because it offers a variety of products that you can fin in Mexico. if you need to cook a Mexican dish you will find in this store what you need. The food is great too and the prices are very reasonable.

By far the best food I have eaten in Dade city… We ate there yesterday for lunch, came back today for more. All food made to order.. Very impressed.
