Stay Away Gross Kitchen and Food!. I had eaten here once before and shame of me for fogetting that it was bad the first time. Lets start with the odor of rotten food covered up bleach. There was one other couple dining and many of the tables had a reserved on them. I am thinking wow they must be busy with all these reservations so it must be good. I ordered the Chicken Francesco which is supposed to be their signature dish. It arrived covered in a luke warm pink sauce that was beyond unacceptable, no garnish just some gamey chicken with ham and cheese. This was $15.95! I had to ask for my salad & bread which came after my entree. The side of meatballs was also cold and very bready with nasty sugar sauce with no spices at all. I had it taken off the bill. Service was weak and so was the food. The bill with tip was $75. This is Dade city! I can eat much higher quality at Olive Garden. These reviews must be from people who are use to mediocrity. This was a horrible experience we took the pizza and calazone togo and dumped it in the trash outside. My 11 year old thew up on the ride home. That should say it all. I give this place a solid F! Don;t waste your time and especially your $$$.

New york style pizza. The crust is the chewy but crispy on the bottom type that is so hard to find. The cheese is top quaity and the sauce is not too sweet( I do not like that!!!) and not too acidic. Sausage is thin sliced and very flavorful.GREAT VALUE as well.I am not a new yorker…but I love the pizza…I realyl enjoyed my pizza today. soooooo goooooood So many pizza places are just OK..this one is great by my standards!!!!. Thank you will be back many times. WIsh you were in Masaryktown!

I would strongly disagree with the review below, every time I go to Francesco’s I have the garlic knots, I can’t get enough of them! Being from Boston I grew up with an abundance of great pizza restaurants and a whole area of town dedicated to Italian foods and heritage (the North End) so believe me when I say Francesco’s reminds me of what I miss in Boston. I’ve been in Dade City for over 8 years now and there is no comparison to the pizza for miles around. They also serve the best eggplant I’ve had at a restaurant. If you love eggplant I would recommend their eggplant parmesan or rollitini (with ham & ricotta!) Whether you’re in the mood for fantastic pizza or any Italian specialty (chicken parmesan, veal marsala, linguine with clam sauce, etc.) I would seriously recommend Francesco’s. Dade City is lucky to have a restaurant like this! Easily located downtown is a plus, too!

Excellent Pizza. I’m so glad I gave Francesco’s a try- was about to travel to Tampa for my pizza fix, when I found this restaurant online. When I discovered the owner was from Sicily I just had to eat here. They are one of the very few restaurants that offer prosciutto as a pizza topping, and not just any prosciutto- prosciutto di Parma. When I arrived to pick up my pizza, I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few people dining there. I browsed through the menu and was impressed by the extent of the selections, which included not only calzone and strombolis, but pasta puttanesca and veal piccata. My pizza came out of the oven exactly at my designated pick up time and was piping hot. It had e very thin New York style crust with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and prosciutto. The sauce was sweet and very well seasoned, with a crust that was both chewy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It was by far the best pizza pizza that I have had in a long time, and I will definitely be back again.

Great food and fair prices. The garlic knots are great.
