Love this place. Great food and very unique, relaxed atmosphere!! Love coming here, even from an hour and a half away!
New owners are amazing. The food has changed a lot since the new owners and chef. It is no longer fried food baskets. The food is much fresher and comparable to the best restaurants in Tampa. The waitress said that the chef prepares everything unlike most places that order things prepare and just mix or heat them. Very fresh! I have been a few times now always loving my food, and it seems that the menu changes based on the season and what is fresh. Very interesting decorations too. 100% the best around!

Not liking the new menu!. We used to love this place – they used to serve the best chicken piccata! Well, went there yesterday and my husband was happy with the prime rib, but I couldn’t find anything on their much smaller, more expensive menu (sorry, I wasn’t too excited about ordering brasied rabbit- yikes!). I finally settled for a simple chicken ceasar salad and the lettuce was served in WHOLE leaves drizzled with dressing – chicken on the side. They say that is to keep the lettuce crispy, but how much is it going to wilt between the kitchen and my table? So they give you a flat plate for you to cut up and toss your salad on – good luck keeping it on the plate! Wine glasses got prettier, but contained less… 🙁
$$$$EXTREMELY OVER PRICED.. Service was great. Atmosphere was cool by bring a big city feel to a small town. The big city prices followed with them. Stuffed meatloaf was bland excessively salty and dry. topped off with the 20.00 value if you want to call it that. A meal for two totalled 54.00 minus gratuity not a place to just run and have dinner at.
Great experience. We had a very good experience at Kafe Kokapelli. The food was excellent!! The servers were very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was very accommodating. We will be back !
Since new owners, prices are up, menus choices are reduced, quality is not to previous standards. We used to love this place. Now it is mediocre at best. NOT impressed!!!
