My daughter and I enjoyed lunch on the Saturday before Mothers Day to beat the crowds – it was very busy but we were still properly attended to by the servers and our lunch was outstanding. We ordered the fried green tomatoes to begin with and we both ended our luncheon with the delicious 5 Layer coconut cake – I recommend this very unique cafe but call for reservations ahead.
Limited menu. The side were potato salad, potato soup, or roasted potatoes……also told me that the turkey sand which was hot, yeh sent it back twice. Cold each time. No apology from them either. This place is dumb. I hope gordan Ramsey visits and rips them a new a hole
Love this place. Excellent food. Went here years ago when it firstOpened and it is still great. Now that we have moved back, we’ve come once and e return customers for sure.
Was at the car show and stopped here for lunch. Very good. Great service. Food is all home cooking. Had fried green tomatoes shrimp salad and pecan grouper. If back in the area I will eat here again. And this time save room for the homemade desserts.
Disappointed. While on vacation my two friends and I were shopping in Dade City. We had already had lunch earlier but decided we ‘d like some tea. Sorry! Not here! They only serve tea, if you order lunch. Okay, we went to the Angel Tea Room – what a treat! We had our tea and some truly delicious desserts!

I was a first time customer that was maltreated by an abusive man that took my order. As a diabetic senior on oxygen stress causes shortness of breath. This was not a pleasurable dining experience but an ord15 Sep, 2012Do not try to eat here if you are on oxygen……the hateful little man that controls who may or may not eat sucks the air right out of the room. No receipt will be given. There’s no telling how much you will be charged…it all depends on who you are.
