First time customers… The food was mediocre at best. Macaroni and cheese was dry. cornbread was bland & dry. The worst part which I felt warranted a negative review was the catfish dinner. $14 for one piece of catfish, two burnt hush puppies and two small bland sides. We voiced that the quantity of catfish compared to the price of the meal was a bit ridiculous & politely explained we would pay for the sides & drink but would like a refund for the difference. The staff did not offer any resolution. No refund, no more fish.
I love this place! Incredibly friendly service and everything I have ever tried there is made with love and seasoned to perfection. The fried chicken and meatloaf are absolutely amazing and I have become totally addicted to the mashed potatoes! This is a must visit in Dade City!
