A well kept secret. If you like authentic Italian food, bold, flavorful and super delicious, you must try the food and desert. The texture and taste of the food was unbelievable, from the pizza, sauce and desert. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this place, it;s almost like a secret. It is moderately priced, gets pretty crowded and everyone leaves full and satisfied. I could not believe it. Will return again, and again, and again………., love, love this place!Happy customer, Milly19 Jun, 2013BEST FOOD. WOW!!!. I went to Don and Sal’s with my mom right after we were at the beach all day. We are New Yorkers and finding a good pizza place in Florida is like finding a needle in a haystack. The menu for starters was impressive, reminding me of Little Italy in the bronx. After looking through the menu it was evident to make a decision was going to be difficult everything just sounds amazing. We started with the homeade garlic rolls—-fabuloso!!!, then decideded on the broccoli di rabe, sausuage white pizza ( meaning no tomato sauce), crust crunchy and crisp to perfection, right amount of mozzarella cheese and the broccoli de rabe perfectly flavored ( not too bitter)…we followed with espresso and mom had the tiramasu ( fabulous) I had the italian cheese cake ( beyond flavorful), the meal as a whole was rich, delicious and well worth every penny. I will be a frequent customer.

Excellent!. If your looking for real Italian food, this is the spot! Tucked into the publix shopping center on Sheridan, it’s a hidden gem. The garlic knots are sooo yummy, the meatballs and the calamari are definitely my favorite. Ordering the francaise sauce is a must! The staff was very nice and pleasant. Prices are very good and the portions are huge. Highly recommended and will definitely go back!

Amazing. Purchased a groupon for $20 for $40 worth of food. I was able to feed 3 teens, my husband and myself with pizza to take home. The service was great. Good area near the beach. A small space but very clean. The pizza was so…..good

Name change / great food!. We decided to try this neighborhood Italian restaurant because my husband (Don) and his father (Vinnie) used to have an Italian restaurant in Naugatuck, Connecticut. This place is no relation, and when we got there, the name was changed! It is now called Don and Sal’s, but the food is phenomenal! We were greeted at the door and seated promptly. Rachel was our waitress and frankly, we went in with the intention of eating pizza, but she was so enthusiastic and heartfelt that she convinced us to try full dinners! We were not disappointed. I had the special: flounder Franaise with a lemon and white wine sauce and two butterfly shrimp. The fish was delicate and not overcooked, the shrimp were fresh and soft, not chewy, and the sauce was to die for! My husband requested something that wasn’t even on the menu: veal rollatini, and Rachel told us the cook would make anything he wanted! It was scrumptious! The prices are reasonable, the service is truly great and if this place had been in New York City, it would rival Tony di Napoli’s or other world-renowned Italian eateries. What a gem, right in Dania!Oh, and the authentic New York Cheesecake? Chef Sal’s grandmother’s recipe, and really yummy! Worth the splurge (calory-wise)!

WONDERFUL. We were a party of 9 on a Friday evening. Our table was ready when we arrived, the service was excellent and the food was incredible. Real Authentic Italian Cheesecake (yummy). 9 of 9 dishes received outstanding reviews. Definitely go back even thought it is a bit of a drive. Conveniently located and ample parking. All that aside, I’d park a block away and walk to eat there.
