Service 4.5 she was playful, sweet, and attentiveFood taste 4.5 the Danish were fabulous.Portion size 5 we couldn’t eat it all. Large menu selection, friendly atmosphere. We are looking forward to coming backParking lot was full, which tells you it’s good. But we were seated immediately.
Not Sure What All the Hoopla is About. I’ve been to Grandpa’s several times over the years and I’m still trying to find what the great attraction is. There has never been anything really wrong to complain about, but it’s no better or worse than any other mom and pop type restaurant. The food is good, but nothing to write home about. The service has usually been acceptable, friendly and efficient. Something I would expect at any restaurant. The free pastries at the table are a very nice touch, but again nothing great. If I had one complaint it would be the atrocious parking situation. You can drive around the block 3 or 4 times hoping someone comes out and leaves while you’re passing by, or try your luck parking in the lot next door, which is clearly marked as a tow-away zone. I was about ready to give up and go somewhere else after 15 minutes of this, but luckily someone was leaving on my last pass.If I lived way out east in Wilton Manors, I might drop in on an off time. But there are far better, and less expensive alternatives to Grandpa’s.
