A nostalgic stop along Federal Highway taking you back in time with it’s decor and old-time candy selection. The menu variety is huge with many flavors of ice cream to choose from and portions are extremely generous. I personally did not care for the fruit toppings as they were way too sweet but the hot fudge was very good and a ton of whipped cream which is my favorite.
One of the best places for ice cream and snacks! Though some 25 miles from our home, we used to go there regularly. Amazing retro decor and menu style. Awesome service, with very happy staff! Ice creams are the highlight… massive servings with a huge variety of toppings. The fries were awesome, too!! Totally recommend this place!!!!
Be prepared to wait in line for a while, but Jaxson’s ice cream is pretty darn good. We bought a quart container to take home & they loaded it up! Really helpful & happy employees made for a good experience.
People complain too much. This place is great. A bit overpriced but the ice cream is huge, fresh and really good. Try the coconut ice cream or the banana split. Or try them together. :)-
Overpriced, not worth the extra.. We’re all for spending extra money on quality ice cream. We were hoping that the quality matched the cost here. Not so much. Our $7.50 milkshake was made with the wrong ice cream and was very watery. The sundae was better, but was average for any ice cream parlor, nothing special here. Customer service was average. Total cost for a shake and a sundae was $16. Parking lot was crowded, outdoor area tucked in corner of parking lot. Will not return based on our visit.

Jaxson’s. What can I say… you feel like a little kid every time you are there. I love it and so does my son! Our spot!!
