Grilled Shrimp ceviche and Brie Toast was perfect appetizer. Yellow tail was right off the boat fresh. Ribeye was much larger than advertised and grilled perfectly. The grilled shrimp and rice/beans made my wife ecstatic. The wines by the glass are TOP quality. Then came the desert! Chocolate Flourless Tort put my wife in heavenly coma while the banana/strawberry crepe with home made chocolate and whipped cream was perfectly light and refreshing after a giant steak. The great food in a quiet, funky atmosphere and perfect service. Try Jimmies cafe and it will become your new favorite!

Sinful Desserts & Coffee. The service is amazing. The server was very knowledgable of the entire menu, including the wine list. She was also very friendly. I went with my boyfriend after dinner for some coffee and dessert. We have been here once before in the summer. The outside patio had a fire pit, which gave it a very cozy romantic feel. (Great date place!) I had the chocolate caramel cappuccino which was absolutely amazing! The temperature was perfect and was made with REAL chocolate and caramel. We also had the Crepe with chocolate, strawberries, bananas, and homemade whipped cream. WOW! It was so light and delicious. Perfect for sharing. The fruit was very fresh. Definitely prepared to order. I can’t wait to try dinner here!
Wow…. I’m at a loss for words. Call 24 hrs ahead and any fish can be fresh caught. Perhaps the best value priced menu in Ft. Lauderdale.
Friendly, Yummy Chocolate. I stopped in to the chocolate shop craving something delicious. I was greeted by a friendly woman who was attentive and shared the shops history. I purchased a mixture of different chocolates and everyone of them were fabulous. My next visit to South Florida will include a stop to Jimmie’s!
Jimmies is hands down my favorite restuarant in S.Florida. The atmosphere is sooo cute, super romantic but still a great place to have dinner anytime. Their super fresh fish is amazing for the entre and the bruschetta for an appetizer is sublime. The service is very charming as you are ussually greeted and served by jimmie himself. No matter where u eat, the beautiful courtyard outside or the charming and quirkily decorated dining upper floor, you sure to be pleased with everything. A must try place!!
