This place is casual and good for lunch. They have good sushi and crab fritters. Great views of the ocean, as it is configured with a Pier for a unique dining experience.
Horrible experience. First, walking in the door the three hostess didn’t say anything. Finally they asked how many, no hello, good evening or anything. Then when escorting us to the table she had two parties follow her to one table and we didn’t get the table. After finally getting the table, there was no wait, we ordered drinks. That’s the only part that was correct. The waitress took our order and told us something that was not a special as a special and she focused on the dirty rice and vegetables (should have taken that as a hint). My girlfriend ordered the special and I ordered a burger (pretty simple right). I specifically stated no tomato because I’m allergic and I wanted it cooked medium. The waitress brings the dinner, what’s on top of the burger, the tomato. I’m not a complainer so I removed it and ate the burger. It was charbroiled (extremely well done). My girlfriends fish was also chard (over-cooked). And, the dirty rice the waitress raved about, they forgot it. Were not complainers so we ate the food and wasn’t going to say anything. But, the waitress asked how was the burger? So, I told her it was way over-cooked, and she said you ordered it medium right? I also told her the fish was overcooked. So both meals were far less than desirable. You would think by me telling the waitress that both meals were nasty would spark some type of customer service response, apologize or bring the manager or at the least comp one of the meals….. Nothing. She brought the check and said goodbye. To top it off, the dinner made me sick as soon as I got home….. No customer service, food sucked and we will not go back. Customer service is a thing of the past. (The service was so bad, I took time to write this review. It’s the first I’ve ever written. That should tell you something)….
Great view though.. I give 3 stars out of 5, because of the view and location. Otherwise, would have given 2 only.Went twice, one time for dinner and one for lunch.Wont go back, as it was extremely crowdy and loud with boisterous people both times. Moreover, looks dirty.I must say the lobster is excellent though. Didn’t like the lunch at all. Took chicken a la Francaise, and it was so so and way too salty.
My husband and I have been to the other quarterdeck locations and wanted to give dania beach a try. It was crowded and we were advised that it would be a 30-40 wait- no problem. They asked for our cell phone # and we waited. As time went on, I saw them seat customers who arrived after us so I finally went to the hostess stand to see what was going on. The hostess was very rude and told us they sent us a text message that our table was ready a while ago. I do not get text messages on my phone and figured they would call when the table was ready. When I told this to the hostess, she argued with me. The food was good and our waitress was excellent. We had the mussle appetizer, rib dinner, and seafood pot pie soup (this soup was enough for a whole meal). Our table was right next to the waitstaff computer station. By itself, this is no problem, but we had to listen to groups of workers discuss their night out in detail which was not very professional.
Nightmare. Tried to call several times to see how late they were open. No answer, got an answering machine. They do not post open hour times on their website, I have a feeling they change often based on business. So we took a chance. We got there at about 9:45 and the parking lot was ghetto dark, you must have a gps to find this place. You have to pay for parking. Machine number 10 was not lit and you can’t see the directions. So we are in the dark, my wife and I are fumbling with a wallet and a purse I felt vulnerable and legitimately concerned for our safety. After figuring I was trying to use my Sear’s card instead of my American Express, my wife stuck a credit card in and it charged us $15. Walked in and they told us the kitchen JUST closed but the bar was open, I don’t drink. After expressing my irritation of lack of phone/website communication and the parking, using a few expletives, they reluctantly said they would take our food order. Sure, at this point I am sure someone would have spit in my food. So we walked away from this place $15 poorer and feeling like chumps. We have always been fan’s of Flanigan’s and Quarterdeck but they need to dump this loser of a location.
Waited for an hour to be seated, never happened. The hostess had forgot about us! My wife and 2 kids were very upset. Never again!!
View is breathtaking, prices are fair, but I’m a little disappointed at the fact that they only have 3 beers on tap. Other quarter decks have
