Consistently good value. We’ve been dining at Tropical Acres for DECADES. It’s where our family went for special occasions and where we’d bring out-of-town guests as we know the food and service, and piano music would always be great. Never been disappointed, ever.
Wonderful food.great service. Been twice and not disappointed. I got petit filet cooked Pittsburgh style which you do not see that often. Along with salad and loaded backed potatoy my husband got prime rib onion soup and loaded potato. Other friends got salmon with horseradish dill sause and filet. To full to eat dessert but they offer quite a selection. Drinks good. Live piano music which is not to loud. Valet parking. The wait staff are wonderful and helpful. .definitely will go back again when catching a cruise in ft Lauderdale
Not Worth Going. The food was mediocre at best. Don’t even bother with the prime rib. Desserts? Even the waitress told us to stay away from their highly pushed rum cake. To top it all off they overcharged us and gave us a hard time about it. We are very frequent restaurant patrons. This place is off our list. Save your time and money.

Would return, party of 11.. Steaks and seafood was excellent, bar drinks pretty good. Service was great. Decor is dated but so what, it’s more of a theme here than ‘old.’ Restaurant was clean and we enjoyed the food. Live entertainment was nice (a little loud where we were sitting but not enough that we mentioned it plus it covered the occasional fit from the baby….) overall a good choice for us!
Party of eight, short wait to be seated. Service was great, food was even better. Near Fairfield Suites (free shuttle). All and all, a very good experience, would go back.
