This place is great. It’s average casual Italian. Tiny place but the food is very enjoyable. I do feel strange being one of the only patrons who does not speak Italian but I think that makes me like it more. I’ve been there a few times now and I don’t have a single complaint.
Moved recently from Key West. This is a quaint little place. Nice atmosphere. Heard allot of microwave noises from the kitchen (not entirely sure if microwave used for bread served or for our entire meal). Food was average Italian but I am not entirely sold that it is made fresh there. What sold me was the delicious tiramisu after my meal. Best ever. Will return and give them around shot
Dania Gem loses it’s plot!. Hate to do this, but they do not seem to be serious about business! I have been frequenting since they opened…then more often once they opened patio where they welcome dogs. In my opinion, this is not an operation interested in making it as a restaurant. Service has always been limited, and today worse than ever. When they opened food was definitively authentic Italian, but that changed several months back. Service is casual at best…food has deteriorated to typical American/Italian cuisine. Waited 15 minutes for someone to take my drink order, when it came, server apologized as she was busy inside! As a weekly regular i was insulted by this. Owner had passed by me twice, and when I requested service he said ‘ she would be there soon’! In these tough times when business should be valued by owners, i will choose to spend my money elsewhere.
