Great food. Great service. Had the Carrot Cake pancakes… Awesome. Really a nice place to eat. Ignore the bitchy people with negative reviews.

I went on a weekend, had to wait for a table, surprisingly there was seating outside and cold water for those waiting. 15 minutes wasn’t long, but the Wild Berry Trxas French Toast was Awesome! Friendly Fast service. I shall return .11 Aug, 2013Just a down to earth family friendly cafe. I had the mixed berries Texas French toast. Just so delicious. Along with a never ending cup of great tasting coffee. Fairly priced with friendly service. Going back Soon!

Finding a gem. Ally’s comfort caf in davie fl near ikea is one gem of a mom and pop restaurant. they are open for breakfast and lunch with occasional Friday dinners. I found this home away from home through a friend who eats there every weekend with his family. I tried it with mine and found the food not only delicious but home made. they seem to have more of a selection of pancakes than any other restaurant I have visited. their home made specials every morning and afternoon are more than sufficient and delicious to satisfy any palate. they have a great staff, all helpful and friendly with ally’s mom running the front while ally whips up her delicacies in the kitchen. this is a family restaurant that is not to be missed. one caveat: on weekends get there early as they tend to have waiting lines of locals and new customers every day and weekend. ps. try their specials. you won’t be disappointed. btw-the restaurant offers the friendliest service especially by ally’s mom, judy that I have ever visited. judy and her staff couldn’t be nicer. everyone who enters, quickly becomes family.

Pancakes are great, owners not so much. The weekend special pancakes are wonderful. Ally and her mom, Judy, not so much. No matter how good something tastes it’s just not enough to get me to go back somewhere where I am treated like garbage. If you are a regular here, then no problem, as you will be treated well. If you only go in on occassion don’t bother. On a recent visit I observed the preferential treatment over and over again. Judy literally sat a group of 3 that had just walked up even though there were at least 5 parties ahead of them. She even ran out to greet them, and clearly motioned they would be next. They also just happened to run out of potato pancakes but not until after serving a party that had placed their order after we had, needless to say I guess they got mine because the waitress came over fifteen mins after I had placed my order and told me they had just run out. I feel you should treat all your patrons with the same respect. Yes, it is great to have people come in on a regular basis and you should, of course, be grateful for them, so go ahead and show them you appreiciate their business. But shouldn’t you show the same appreciation to those that only visit on occasion or for that matter for the first time? That is meant for Judy. And Ally, take a well deserved vacation to release some stress. It isn’t that people don’t like your food when they ask for a little extra cream chesse icing for their pancakes, they just like it so much they want more, I did tell the waitress I didn’t mind paying extra. Same with the potato chips, I would rather have those than your home fries, so let me, I’m willing to pay for it. The waitresses seem afraid to ask you for anything, relax.
