Some the best and authentic Mexican food ever!! The place is beautiful and has great staff. The owner came to us and explained some of the dishes and told us how he came to start the restaurant. We had excellent nachos and salsa and drinks. We ordered the Enchiladas Espinaca, Vegi Macho-Burrito, Fajitas, Nachos Azteca. Everything was fresh and very well prepared. I had a mango cooler to go with the food and it was excellent!! A good place to go for good food!
NEVER going back. Ok so I have been to this restaurant a couple times, NEVER been thrilled, but this time I am sure I will never come back. Was there with friends for Cinco de Mayo. Music was way too loud, drinks were over priced and the service completely sucked. With so many options, next time I’ll go anywhere else BUT HERE!
Total dump. Went for Cinco de Mayo and the music was too loud. The servers (that are usually obnoxious) brought it to another level of low. Was charged $6 for corona and when i paid cash she shorted me $1. Which I would’ve tipped her with. When I told her it was short she said wow you don’t have to get like that! And handed it back to me. I did leave her the dollar but she didn’t deserve it. Needless to say we left and went to a place where we are appreciated as customers. I don’t care how busy you are, you don’t treat paying customers like that.
Chicken nachos were delicious. Thank goodness we didn’t experience any issues with the waiters like some of the others that provided a review.
Awful manager and take out orders. We used to be customers of Azteca about once a week whether taking out or dining in as we live about a mile away. Even the times we dine in, between several drinks and appetizers, we easily spend about $100 each time. We always get an order of their queso dip. Well, when dining in, salsa and chips are complimentary and the queso is about $6. When doing take out, we still order the queso and also pay extra ($3.75) for large salsa that is usually complimentary dinning in. No problem as we know we are taking out, well what I received tonight was the equivalent of 20 chips in a ziploc bag. When i asked for more chips since we spending money on salsa and this is for 2 people ( yes we ordered 2 entree as well) the girl at the front told us no. we had to pay $4 for more chips. Even though we already are paying more money for a complimentary salsa, now they ask us to pay $4 more for chips so 2 people can share the queso. Dining in queso is $6 with unlimited salsa and chips, take out apparently is over $14 for chips, salsa, and queso. This has occurred several times and my wife and i are finally tired of the their attitude at the front and audacity to give approx 20 chips for 2 people to share queso/salsa. I have been tempted to sit down and start eating the queso there and ask for more chips and free salsa. while that would prove a point, its childish and id rather take my business elsewhere. Well done Azteca, you lost about $350 of monthly business and two young people who participate in karaoke and happy weekly over free chips.

I’ve been here about 5 times and live right around the corner. There is something that just didn’t make me want to come back. The food has always been good, but nothing better than other places. Service has always been acceptable but never great. The atmosphere is dated but it’s a comfortable place. My family and I met my friend’s family for dinner this week. It is one of their favorite places. Well the service was terrible. The waiter charged my friends wife for a soda because she took a sip from his soda. Mind you she was drinking $10.50 margaritas. She had 2. We paid for the bill, but caught it after we paid. We didn’t really care but wanted to point it out because we thought that was tacky. The waiter then said it was because she shared the soda. He then said that he made a mistake and needed to charge us for the retried beans that came with the chips and salsa. Mind you we didn’t order them, they just brought them as they always have. He then brought a second check for $4. Worst part was the manager put him up to it. The food was good, but no better than other Mexican places within a couple of miles. Oh did I mention the waiter only refilled our drinks once, but we had to ask 4 times before it happened. Never going back. There is a Mexican place with good food and nice young waitresses down the street in the other direction that are much more pleasant than the old Mexican men with bad attitudes. Enjoyte extra couple dollars you got from us, it will be your last.
