Zero Sense of Service, Courtesy, or Hospitality. As others have noted, bread here is very good, so I was a regular here. However, customer service was only tolerable and now, unacceptable. If you happen to walk in with several folks in line, you are told to grab counter items such as drinks, chips, place your order, have a seat, and pay later. Disorganized, haphazard, but this is what we did. They have young inexperienced staff, who then recite what they think you order to the person at the register. The register-lady today mumbled the items, told me total, and I paid. I was then chased out to my car, as I am on the phone, have someone literally knocking on my car window telling me they forgot to charge me for one bag of chips. Seriously? So I park again, get out of my car, and instead of apology for their oversight, get attitude from register-lady because I did not make sure they had it right, and because I did not have cash to pay for a bag of chips. Never mind they do not ever write down your order, read it back to you, or offer an itemized receipt. Losing a regular over $1.59….No baguette or croissant is worth a place that does not value its customers, especially when we have looked past a cheap strip mall location and cramped, uncomfortable seating to enjoy your food. Staff and management should feel embarrassed.
