Great food, excelent service!!. I fount this gem in Davie and fell bad that it took me so long to visit them, they have great food, affordable, everything was really fresh and the service was excellent, highly recommended, last but not least, the manager Klaudia has a smile to die for, is worth the trip!!
Fala-tastic!. My vegetarian Israeli friend discovered this place and said the falafels are the real thing. I have to say that they are in fact, the very best falafels I’ve ever had, anywhere. And if that weren’t enough, they have an awesome selection of toppings and sauces to complete your sandwich or platter. I’m sure their other food is good, too, but I drive 20 minutes just to get their falafel sandwich. I’m never hungry after that, so I never tried anything else, lol.
Student discounts. They do offer a student discount. Just show your ID. There is a BIG sign on the cash register letting you know!I do agree that the service is not fast, that is due to the fact that they cook and slice everything fresh and prepare your order when you order it. Food is not sitting around under heat lamps waiting. All the salad ingredients and dressings are made fresh and you can taste that. Almost anywhere you go that is healthy or somewhat healthy, you will pay between $7 -$9 for a sandwich or salad. Fala is priced fairly and is fresh and healthy food.17 May, 2012Awesome! Fresh, healthy and lots of food if you get a platter. Chicken shawarma was amazing. (thank you to the Avengers for the suggestion otherwise I may never have tried it) But the best is the homemade hummus!!!!
Nothing special. Went here after reading the glowing reviews. My verdict: I won’t be coming back. There are just much better chicken pitas and gyros to be found in the area. Plus, the prices were not great and service was slow. Maybe if you have a student discount it’s a good value, but if you don’t it was a bit steep for the quality and quantity you get. Also, the sweet potato chips were greasy and there were very few of them (since they were greasy that actually ended up being a good thing). I was really hoping to find a fresh mediterranean alternative to add to my casual dining options, but, at least for me, this wasn’t it.
Falafels are SCRUMPTOUS. When you first walk in, there is a sign to the left which states they serve vegetarians, which I appreciated! On the menu it is clearly stated what is vegetarian and what is non-vegetarian, which I ALSO appreciated! I chose the falafel sandwich which is in a pita bread, with whatever toppings I chose (cabbage, hummus, veggies, tahini sauce, lettuce, onions, etc). After a certain time (I believe 5pm) it is 5 dollars each! (also a 15% discount for fau, nsu, and bc students) What a deal. The food was very tasty, and the place was very clean. Definitely going again.
Great & Healthy Place to eat. I love their food and always feel great after I eat there.
Falafels are $5 after 5pm. They also give NSU students a discount. I’ve only had the falafels and they are delicious.
