The pad Thai was flavorless…The sushi rolls were not rolled tight at all! The shumai was okay…we also got the chicken and veggie tempura, it was just OK…the beef Gyoza was soggy!!!! The lid wasn’t on the sauce and it saturated the entire thing! For $50+ This wasn’t worth it, I’m disappointed….never ever again.
Just tried this place for the first time and the food was delicious and the prices are good. There was not one bad thing about the food. Sushi, salad, soup and chicken were full of flavor and extremely good.
I have been going here for almost 17 years, and I’ve eaten sushi in a million other places. However, little Japan remains the best sushi place I have ever been to. Everything is delish ( American dream roll, and Yaki udon) and the owner justin is the sweetest person! Love to dine here when I come home 🙂
Terrible. We ordered all of our dishes with brown rice. The restaurant was practically empty but it took a while for the dishes to arrive. They came with white rice. The server said she forgot and asked us if we wanted to wait for them to be made with brown rice in a tone of voice that indicated that she hoped we would decline. Since we already had waited more than we should have we said no. One of the dishes was a salmon skin roll. The salmon skin was burnt. A woman who we believed was the owner came over to our table to ask if everything was okay. We told her that the salmon skin was burnt and we couldn’t eat it. She told us it was well done (without even looking at it). We told her no, it was burnt. She shrugged and walked away. Why did she bother asking us if she wasn’t going to do anything about the fact that our meal was not what we ordered and inedible?
Fabulous sushi, been coming here for years!. This is some goooooood sushi!!! Justin is a master at what he does! Sushi is always fresh, and a treat to eat. Lunch specials are really good, but get a table early as it fills up pretty quick! I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s still the best sushi in Weston & Sunrise area. Five stars!
Excellent food and prices. Spicy salmon with rice appetizer is great. If youre away from Sobe, downtown Miami, downtown Ft. Lauderdale and are farther west, this is absolutely the best sushi place.
Hidden Treasure. I love japanese cuisine, the freshness of it, the simple flavors and have found myself disappointed time and time again by sushi joints in south florida, its like one item on the menu is good and the others are mediocre. Little Japan is by far not a typical south florida sushi place. My family and friends have now found ourself a Japanese restaurant to be loyal to. Order any item off the menu and its guaranteed delicious. Personal favorites of mine are the spider roll, the sexy mama roll, the crab and shrimp salad, their tuna tataki is perfection, and honestly… i could go on and on with this one. Love Love Love this place. Justin and his staff truly know what they are doing.
