This place was awesome, if someone says different, the truth is not found in them. I had the brisket, and talk about being tender, with flavor, I didn’t want to use any bbque sauce on the meat, along with the baked beans(average) and macaroni and cheese (good), corn bread, with lemonade. And to top it off, $25 would cover 2 ppl. .
The place was packed so I thought the food was going to be excellent. Much to my surprise I ordered the pork sandwich it was one of the worst I’ve ever eaten. I usually judge a barbecue place by the beans they were definitely not the best I’ve ever tried. Sad to say but I don’t think I’m going back
Great BBQ! I have been several times now and the food has been great each time. It’s counter service, however they help you to your table and have employees working the dining room offering to refill drinks, to get condiments or anything else you may need. It’s the best BBQ in Broward County. They have 6 sauces on the tables and about 3 or 4 specialty sauces you can bring to your table. All the sauces are great. All homemade on location. There are several meats and sandwiches to choose from. They have good brisket which most BBQ places don’t even attempt to put on the menu. There is a nice selection of sides and all are really good. The decor is cool, especially if you like US military memorabilia.
