9/4/17 Labor Day, guess everybody craves pho too today. My first time in this plaza, it had Foodtown grocery store, Brandon Asian Cuisine, and 595 Banh Mi. This plaza was so packed, people were parking on the fire lanes and beeping at each other; thought we were going to get shot trying to get a spot. I’m not sure if this plaza is busy all the time but today was a madhouse.Once we got to the restaurant, the place was packed! There was a clipboard right outside and you have to write your name and how many people were in your party. I thought it was going to take forever but we only had to wait ten minutes. That process was confusing as people were going in and had to come back out to sign, they should have a hostess. The inside of the restaurant is your typical Vietnamese restaurant, it had booths that were pretty private. The service was surprisingly fast and good. I ordered the iced coffee which was amazing and the fresh spring rolls which were also delicious. For my meal, I got the small number 29 which comes with brisket and meatballs. The broth was tasty and the amount of noodles and meat was perfect for my appetite. I get the vibe this place is fully authentic and business is booming for them. When I’m in the area, sure I’ll stop by. However, I don’t understand why there’s so many people waiting to dine here; it was good but not the best in the world as you would’ve imagine once you get into the parking lot lol.
