Yum yum. OMG I went to this sub shop and the lady behind the counter was so nice that even if the food wasnt good i would go back.. I was pleasantly surprised with the soup, which was for sure home made, and the grilled hot pastrami sammy was to die for,,, Fresh cafe con leche at an american sub shop ta boot.. This place is a must!!!!
#20 Steak Bomb. Absolutely loved this sandwich!20 Aug, 2011#20 Steak Bomb. Okay, so I couldn’t wait another day to try a breakfast. I had to return in the same day for lunch and who knew? I loved it! The Steak Bomb was freshly prepared, the soft roll slightly toasted to perfection, abundantly stuffed with meat, grilled onions – mushrooms – bell peppers, and covered with a perfect layer of cheese to seal in the flavors. I took mine home wrapped in paper inside of a Styrofoam box and tied up in a plastic bag. The aroma still seeped through and was utterly intoxicating. The veggies were softened and yet still crunchy. The sandwich was divinely filled with flavors from each ingredient. The 20 minute car ride had no negative effect, unbelievable! This family business has perfected the science of flavorful dining on the run.20 Aug, 2011Wonderful and so clean!. I stopped by one morning and was surprised to find a Caf con leche that surpassed in flavor and texture any I had previously enjoyed in my 30 years in Miami. Hot, creamy, with a splash of sugar and wonderfully lacking the skin of scalded milk. Kudos to Brenda! She is a godsend! Next breakfast stop I’ll try their eggs, bacon and Cuban toast.
Good Little Sub Shop. I’ve been there a dozen times. The subs are always good. The bread is fresh and so are the meats. I went and ordered my favorite, the honey mustard chicken sub, I was expecting them to pull out a chunk of boars head meat and slice it, but I was pleasantly surprised. They pulled a freshly roasted piece of chicken breast out of the oven and put it on the slicer. I could see the juice pouring out of the meat as they sliced it. Needless to say, the sub was delicious. They also have the best honey mustard dressing ever.
