Went a few times and the service was adequate, BUT…just a couple of nights a go I went again and the large bearded red-neck looking bartender took my $20 for a $6 order and did not provide change. I had to request my change and when I did so he only provided change for a $10. When I politely requested my change he started yelling at me. I walked away offended knowing I could not win this argument. (In the past I had always paid with credit cards) The other younger blonde bartender overheard his coworker yelling at me and brought me my remaining $10, so this must happen a lot with other customers concerning his co-bartender. No apologies were given, just really poor treatment. This is a shame because their drinks are superb and the atmosphere is great. If they get rid of the thieving, threatening, large bearded red-neck looking bartender they would retain a lot more business.

This place is great!! It’s a little micro brewery that has a bar set up with a ever changing selection of drafts. There are many bottles/cans of beer to choose from too. They do serve wine, but this is a place that you go to for a great beer. They do serve a few appetizers that are excellent but it’s more for a snack than a meal. The atmosphere is very laid back. Everyone is friendly and the service is top notch. This place has a lot of regulars but they treat everyone the same way, whether you are there every night or there for the first time. I don’t get to go out much but when I do the Mack House is my go to place.
Drink local. A blackboard with an ever changing roster of beer is all I need in a local bar. I found out later they have menus from a handful of local restaurants so you can get food if you need. Very relaxed, unpretentious place. Great beer. I’m not from Denver by the way, I am local.
I like my beer sour not my grapes, a quick google search reveals the previous reviewer is none other than the previous brewmaster of holy mackerel! Let’s promote the craft beer industry in Florida rather than engage in childish behavior. The Mack house has been a great source of innovative and experimental brews for the last couple years and I would highly recommend any of the original recipe beers as well as the new experimental stuff in the Mack house. Drink like a local!
