06 May, 2017Picked up lunch. I had chicken sandwich & Ptr had steak. Also got Cuban bread & pastries for breakfast. All good..—-12 Jan, 2014Good food, reasonable price, but if you don’t speak Spanish expect a lot of attitude.Good selection of pastries. They also sell Cuban coffee and bread.
They have good food and the prices are more or less reasonable. Good lunch chicken sandwich and their cheese pastelitos are the best. BUT…. their service is HORRIBLE. Expect to be in there for a few minutes waiting, they’re slow. I can’t tell you how many dirty looks i’ve gotten just for walking in and interrupting their free time with my business. Ridiculous. But I put up with it cause its good food and it’s like the only bakery in the area.
I know good pastries when I see them (I’m a big fan). The minute I saw these I wasn’t impressed and when I tried them I was right. The pastries were soggy at the bottom instead of flaky as it should be. They tasted as if they had been sitting there for a few days. Won’t buy pastries from there again.
