Very slow service on a quiet night. Shrimp and grits was swimming in oil. Overpriced. Leave this place to the tourists that love these traps.
Delicious, no issues. Been here 3 times in the last 6 months, lunch twice, dinner once. Never had a bad experience at this one. Food was great every time. Decently priced. Had a problem once, fixed it immediately. Key West Tacos, Alfredo pasta, corn chowder, jerk chicken pasta, and mahi mahi dishes are all recommendable. Had great service, 3 different waitresses. Aren’t the greatest at refills, but if you ask for a pitcher, they will give it to you. Nothing to complain about.
Poor Service. Dined here today and the service was awful, our server never refilled coffee, water, or drinks, she forgot one item I ordered but it was on the check. I ordered hummus and chips, it came with ONLY 3 chips and when I asked for more she only brought me 3 more. The hummus was the worst I ever ate. NEVER AGAIN!
We went there last night for a birthday party with 30 people and it was 1 big issue after another, Reservation seem to mean nothing at this place because they were not equipped to handle half of our party much less the whole party. The service was poor as was the quality of the food, we will never dine there again, to many problems there to overcome? If there in business this time next year, it will be a Miricle
Very disappointing. I had fish tacos which were served cold. Chipotle mayo overpowered what little taste there was. Fruit cup with mango sherbet was the best part. Any reason a restaurant has to be so cold that you need a sweater?
Decent for me so far. I have been here numerous times since it opened because I work at the Volusia Mall. So except for Applebee’s, which I was getting pretty tired of, this is the closest decent place to eat when you only have about an hour. I have only dined at the bar due to time constraint. The menu is not extensive and the prices are not very inexpensive. This is why I usually only go during happy hour, 4-6 weekdays. During these times the appetizers are 1/2 price. I can have a decent amount of food, soft drink, and leave a 20% tip for about $9.00. The beef empanadas were very good as was the shrimp and lobster quesadilla. The later suggested by a friend who had dined here.I did have a hamburger with avocado and goat cheese that was the best hamburger I have had in years. I think one of the reasons it was so good was that I was allowed to order it rare. Large, juicy, and flavorful.Another day I ordered a salad with salmon. Other than the salmon being slightly over cooked, the meal had good flavor. The service from the bartenders has been attentive. There was an issue only once and that had to do with how long I had to wait for the salmon salad. Some friends of mine went one day and did have issues with outside seating. They were told they could not push their tables together for their larger group which might be irritating. They also felt the liquor was over priced, though the restaurant does have happy hour liquor pricing available. At this point I guess I just wish they had a larger menu.
Daytona’s Newest Addition. It’s their first week. I think it’s expected that they have some kinks to work out, and the herd of staff will be thinned appropriately. Our food was good, no complaints there. We happened to be there at the right time for their late night happy hour (Sunday-Thursday, 9 PM-Close) so we took advantage of the prices to try a few appetizers (they are half off). Our server was pretty ditzy–he was unfamiliar with the menu items, he forgot to put in our drink order and then blamed it on the understaffed bar. The FOH manager checked in with us twice to see how we liked our food. As locals, we’ll return.
