This place is really good. The menu is limited and simple, which is not a bad thing when executed well. My daughter (18), who typically does not eat fish, had her first fish sandwich and loved it. We all had the fish of the day grilled and it was grilled to perfection. I was a little concerned after I ordered because I did not get the sandwich and was afraid that it might be lacking in flavor since it would not have the accompanying vegetables to add flavor (blacked always seems too salty for my palette). I squeezed the fresh lemon wedge that it came with onto it. BAM. Just that little hit of acid was all that it needed. Nice and crispy bits while perfectly moist inside. It is a very small place, and there is a little wait, but that is because they take their time and do it right. Not to mention all of the call in orders they were filling. The onion rings are delicious. Very light batter and thinly sliced. Looked like an entire onion was used. The shrimp looked like they were probably 16-24s. Service attitude was polite and and friendly. My only real negative was that the black beans. They tasted like they were strait out of a can. That is the only reason not a five star rating.
Hope the seafood is better than the salads. Got coleslaw, pasta salad and cucumber salad which literally had 10 slices of cucumber. $20.00 !
Excellent!!!!!. Had lunch…fish and chips for me, fish and shrimp with cole slaw for her. Really tasty, inexpensive, fast service and food was HOT!!! Obviously freshly prepared. Iced tea very good. Nothing to complain about. Clean, friendly. Will return next time in town. Will try onion rings next time. The looked and smelled wonderful.
Prompt friendly service, spotlessly clean place, fish dinners were hot, fresh and scrumptious, prices not bad. We will go back again.
Poor service. 7:20 on a Tuesday night and we were told they were not taking anymore orders…. Wasn’t even packed…. Really closing at dinner time? We won’t be back.
Eat here and enjoy. Probably the best seafood grill within 10 miles. Haven’t found a better place. The food is fabulous, this is an authentic neighbourhood eatery and you won’t go wrong.
AWSOME. The shrimp is off the chain sides were good and it was clean don’t let first impression persued you eat and enjoy!!!!!
