We are local and we love to come here just to eat some shrimp and have a good drinks at the outside seating. But this visit i was dissapointed big time!!! I order a mai tai it came out taste like a just so i told my server that the drink is too weak in a nice way. I drink it anyway coz im thirsty so i told her i can u tell the bartender make me a real mai tai . She laugh about it which is ok no big deal..she came out with a maitai without grenadine and some garnish on it.2nd maitai taste ok just ok which is i can deal with it. So i ordered my 3rd drinks and it came out no grenadine and farnish again so i asked for it. I came here to drink a good maitai that they usually make. I was craving for it.but this time it is not taste like one. So we ordered food and it was regular bubba food.when we got the bill we are surprise that they charged me $27 for 3 maitai plus $12 on bacardi? Wow that was expensive!!! I dont mind paying $9 on my drinks as long as it has the right recipe on it. Maitai is just a spice or dark rum,coconut rum,pineapple,orangejuice and grenadine. So simple. Learn how to make a drinks and do not charge ur costumer extra if its ur fault for not making the cocktail right. Costumer pay for a good food and drinks so we have the rights to have the proper food and drinks. We are local that used to love this place but i guess u just lose a patron.do not charge extra on drinks if your not doing your job right!!!
We called ahead and got seated right away. Pear, raspberry, chicken salad was the best I’ve ever had. Husband had stuffed shrimp. A little too cheesy for him but it was tasty. Chip appetizer had a yummy dip. Might be back before we leave.
Great Cajun Shrimp. Decided to return for a second time, chose the Cajun peel and eat shrimp, it was pretty good and you get quite a bit of shrimp. The waiter we had this time made it a fun experience, He gave us the Forrest Gump quiz. Was more pleased with this visit than the first time I ate there. Will come again when we return in July.03 Apr, 2013Decent Place. It was a decent place to eat. I was not overly impressed. The service was excellent but the food was well overpriced and I guess I expected more for what I paid for. It wasn’t the best seafood I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t awful. I think it’s more for the souveneirs than anything else, as I did get some of those to take home to my kids.
OK not Great. The place looked good, the service was very good.The food? was OK,, only OKI liked it but price and food I would not go back..
Got the shrimp sampler because it’s a shrimp restaurant, right? It was just average. If you can’t get signature right, what can you do?
Amanda provided great service! The pear and berry salad is amazing and they substituted shrimp for chicken for my pescaterian guest. Recommended.
