Staff was friendly, drinks were good and the food was great. especially the seafood bowl. The pastry that the seafood was served in was amazingly light and flaky. the sauce reminded me of lobster bisque.
Great food! Great service! Live music! My favorite dessert! Had the Nachos and Mahi BLT and would have both again! Over the river so great views!
Cesar salad with chicken (good) Clonk chowder (1/2 New England 1/2 conk chowder ) – worth a try and good Some of the local Florida micro brews suck (avoid a blonde ale – hello coconut … wow !) Reasonable service for a heavy tourist place – don’t expect to much eye contact. Good prices , nice location .. clean If the conversation is the most important thing for your night .. this place will do perfectly
1st visit to Caribbean Jacks as a midday mid boat trip stop. We ordered the Caribbean Jack Nachos which were a nice flavorful surprise. I think we all would have been happy if we stopped at the appetizer. For lunch we ordered Caribbean Jack Grilled Shrimp Tacos which comes with a fruit salsa, coke slaw and black beans and rice. I mixed the fruit salsa with the beans and rice for a nice full flavor taste. We also ordered the coconut shrimp salad with coconut shrimp dipping sauce rather than the dressing that comes with it. The shrimp were a good size and the greens were fresh. We also ordered the Bangin Blue Salad with grilled shrimp which was good but they forgot to add the blue cheese which we had to ask for. Service was ok but not as attentive as it should have been. We had to flag down a good runner to ask for blue cheese and our drinks could have used much quicker refills. Not sure if our server had some other concerns but the inside dining room was pretty empty.
It took over an hour to receive our food. Two tables sat down, ate, and left before we received ours. The steak was ordered medium but came out medium rare. We ordered two shrimp stir fry. Good flavor but one had no sauce and the other was swimming in sauce. The waitress did not apologize for our long wait time and was MIA for 30+ minutes. Very disappointed.
No comment on this one . seafood is frozen. Bad location . bad location. Tables sticky. Smells like a boys gym locker . they try to get you drinked up. So youll have a good time .dont worry. Everything is better when you have a goodbuzz. Bring 100.00. Ok
Continues to impress. Been here 3 times and am satisfied every time. The low country boil is delicious and filling. The crab dip is an excellent appetizer. Atmosphere is great as well. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Daytona.
