Horrible! I arrived promptly at the time of my reservation (party of 2) and was greeted by an empty hostess stand. After a few minutes the hostess appeared and informed me that they were not taking anymore customers. She stated that they had one waiter that evening and he was already attending to 8 or 9 tables. I informed her that I had a reservation, at which point she sighed and stated that she still couldn’t take us because they were short staffed (mind you this was the evening after the Daytona 500 – you would have thought they would have been ready for a crowd). She told me I should go to the bar across the hall because I could order the same menu. How about you seat me in your restaurant and get the bar staff to come to me at my reserved table! I will never visit Doc Bales’ Grill again!

Waited too long for an order that had NO cooking.

We waited 1 1/2 hours to get our food at lunchtime. When it finally arrived it was mediocre at best. It only came after I had to ask a waitress who wasn’t even ours where it was. Our drinks sat empty the whole time until finally someone from our party grabbed the pitcher and pourded it herself. Way over priced for the awful service and slow kitchen.

Wonderfully Awesome. A beautifully presented buffet of the finest foods. Hand carved prime rib, extra large chilled peel and eat shrimp, creamy shrimp bisque, and garlic wine steamed mussels were among a delicious assortment. The best seafood buffet I have ever had, probably because it is offered only on Friday and Saturday nights. The $32.95 price included sald bar, drinks, and desserts too. Although the selection seemed limited at first what they did have was perfect. The desserts were so elegant! Little parfaits in wine glasses, pettit fours, and chocolate mousse cake with raspberry reduction. There was also a warm chocolate pot to drizzle over fresh raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and pound cake (or, like what I did, over everything). I can’t believe it but EVERYTHING was exceptionally good.
