Wanted a quick nosh off 95 without the parking hassle of St Augustine. Ask for Andy. He took good care of us. Irony is that we live on Hilton Head, dining at Malcolm’s, and we don’t GOLF. Had the clams, artichokes and a burger special. It was. Filet Mignon. In a burger. No one asked my handicap. Priceless.
LPGA INTERNATIONAL GOLF COURSE. Wow, what an experience I had with my family here at Malcolm’s. Everyone who was working seemed to be extremely happy and helpful with any questions my family had. The view and atmosphere of the patio was divine. The fireplace outside with all the chairs around it looking out at the golf course was so memorable. I had the LPGA Sig salad and it couldn’t have been a better combination of fruit such as strawberry’s, mandarin oranges, cranberries, candied walnuts, gorgonzola crumbles, red onions, croutons, and blackened chicken mixed with a citrus-tarragon dressing. My significant other had the Whatta Gouda Burger with there all famous truffle fries. Lastly, we shared the Coconut tres leches cake. It was outstanding in every way from the service we received to the food placed in front of us. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a stress free dining experience. It’s a hidden gem. We’ll most definitely be back with friends!
Only missing the menu!. The new Malcolm’s is beautifully designed and is full of windows overlooking the golf course! The food continues to be stellar, as has always been the case at LPGA, but in the recent months the menu was substantially simplified, with the primary draw now being hamburgers. The remainder of the menu is a far cry from what it was and somewhat limited, but everything has continued to be outstanding! The garlic truffle fries are a must!Overall, Malcolm’s at LPGA remains a great dining option for casual occasions and after a round of golf, but no longer covers the finer dining category the previous restaurant at LPGA did.Kristen and Keith are the best!
Not good at all. This dinner was on the house,as our first experience was absolutely disgusting.,and I complained bitterly..cold watery philly cheesesteak..not fit for a dog,and a hamburger, ordered well done that was bleeding all over the plate…all this was delivered after waiting over an hour. The manager met us at the restaurant the 2nd time, and took great care of us,but the food arrived luke warm,on the cool side, and we will not return..It used to be a great place, but we*ve been burned twice, and will golf there, but will not set foot in Malcom*s again..as bad as it gets.
Unexpected Delight. Malcolm’s is a gem in the Daytona Beach area. Located in LPGA, it offers great views for outside drinks/dining, along with a fire pit. We chose to eat inside after drinks. The menu offered nice choices as well as specials. The food was superb, especially the seared tenderloin and ceviche. JP was attentive and professional. The staff friendly and well trained. We will be dining there again.
