  Waste of money. The food was cheap quality and the prices are way too high for what you get.

  Burgers chili and breakfast. I recently came into this restaurant by accident on a recent cold day looking to warm up. Boy did I, I had the best chili I have had since TEXAS. Good flavors, hot and very spicy. I decided to stop back in on Sunday afternoon cause they advertised breakfast all day. I’ve heard this before only to find an egg sandwich served after 11, but to my delight at 2 in the afternoon I got a full breakfast. I had a 3 egg omelet filled with veggies and cheese, a large helping of potatoes and two patties of sausage. The FREE included mimosa was a nice surprise. My friend decided on the half pound black and blue burger that was cooked perfectly medium rare, something she has found hard to find at most restaurants. Both of our meals were delicious and the atmosphere relaxing and unhurried. Excellent food and service Hard to beat we will be back!!!!!29 Nov, 2014Glad I tried ScuttleButtS.   Cold Coffee. I decided to try their breakfast with a friend and was extremely disappointed. The server brought me out ice cold coffee and didn’t notice, even though she had carried the cup in her hands. She said someone forgot to turn the pot on. It tasted as if it was from the day before. Food came out fast and was decent. I asked for hot sauce, but the bottle given to me was broken and when I unscrewed the cap I cut my hand open. I told the server, mainly so the bottle would get thrown in the trash to prevent anyone else dealing with it. She pretty much avoided me after that until I flagged her down to get my bill. Nice try, but there is a reason this place is empty when you walk by at lunch time.

  Went there for lunch yesterday- service was good and the Bloody Mary was ok- serves with wine based vodka- which was surprising good. We both had burgers that were cooked to order- but bland and no flavor. Fries were not good- chili was flavorful but very greasy. Will not be back- too many other good places around

  Total rip off. Philly cheese steak came out served in a plastic basket with paper in the bottom. As it sat on the table greace soaked through the paper to the point where it left a puddle. French fries were cold and way over cooked. Wouldnt reccomend this place if the food was free

  My husband and I were visiting Daytona from Virginia during race week. We happened upon Scuttlebutts when we were attempting to go to the Avocado Kitchen, but realized it was only open until 4pm. The outdoor seating looked inviting so we gave it a try. We loved everything about this place from the moment we arrived. Our waitress Naomi was amazing! She was very attentive and super friendly and went above and beyond for us the entire time. From recommending specials not listed on the menu, to bringing me a to-go refill without me even asking, to getting us a map of the local retailers, and more… It’s those little things that make the difference. Our food arrived quickly and was a good portion for the cost. I had the chicken quesadilla and was shocked just how much chicken and fresh veggies were actually on it, which isn’t the case at most places. It tasted wonderful, as did my husband’s fish tacos. Before leaving, we met the owner and the chef, who were also really great. During such a busy weekend, we were happy and amazed to get such great food and service! The locals sitting next to us said they loved it too, which is usually a good sign. We really enjoyed Scuttlebutts and will go back every year on our annual beach vacation!
