Visited Smoke Shack this week and had a great experience. Very family oriented and friendly. Our server Tea was awesome. She was engaging, knowledgeable about their product and attentive without being annoying. The owner was also very friendly. The double burger was excellent. My husband had ribs he said we’re also very good. Worth a stop if you are in the area.
Had a hankering’ for BBQ and had heard great things about is place. So went to the ISB SmokeShack around 4:30pm today.Place looks nice and saw that the prices were a bit steep for BBQ in this area.Had wings which were okay but the wing sauce is not what you would expect or want. All the sauces were unique and not good unique. I finally asked for hot sauce and they do not carry that in any brand.I got the KC ribs which had a rub that rubbed me the wrong way. Couldn’t eat them at all.Wife got a pulled pork sandwich which she didn’t eat either.Fries were great but I made the mistake of ordering the corn nuggets and they sprinkle powdered sugar on them and 1/3 of my fries.The slaw is different and not a good different. Tasted like it had cinnamon in it but was told it was something else.Wife swapped out the slaw for BBQ beans and she ate them because there wasn’t anything else to eat but my fries and I was wolfing those down so I’d have something to eat.Ice tea and root beer were wonderful. Oh and my gluten infused garlic bread was also wonderful!A big waste of money and time.Service was so so.
