Do not go here if you are really hungry. Taste of the food was ok , but the portions were wheres the meat ? On an 8 inch hot meatball sub you got 2 medium size meat balls sliced up to make it look like more ………really ?…………. oldest trick in the book!!!! as for the chicken parm 8 inch sub same thing sliced up and hardly any there.
Locals fave, get the Greek Salad!. (07/29/2011) We love the NSB location. The pizza at this location seems to be a little different. Crust is a nice, bready pan pizza, slightly (but not overly) sweet sauce, well seasoned, not greasy. Lots of fresh toppings piled on; tried the Hawaiian (ham and pineapple) and Stavro’s Special (onions, peppers, sausage, pepperoni, chopped beef and mushrooms). The Greek Salad is as good as ever, so glad it’s what we remember; it’s a classic: shredded iceberg, julienned ham and salami, Kalamata olives (watch out for pits), green bell peppers, shaved white onion, thick slices of ripe tomato, tons of flaked, feta, and garnished with peperoncinis. Dressing is a simple red wine vinegar and olive oil blend. So simple, yet so good; crisp, cool, salty, tangy, creamy, sharp, sour. It’s a great Greek family-owned and operated place, popular with locals.
The food is amazing the family that owns it is wonderful and the girl that does the deliveries is adorable.
Great Pizza. I’ve always liked Stavros pizza.. a lot. The pizza is great and consistently so. Service is hit and miss though.
Certainly the mood in Stavros is a bit stale. They do give you a family atmosphere. I do recommend their pizza.
My go-to or should I say bring-to-me gyro headquarters. Great great great gyros and stromboli… the pizza is not my style but not bad. Super quick delivery and great prices…
