A favorite place in Deerfield beach. The staff is always friendly. The food is so fresh and delicious. Kevin is always behind the counter making up the sushi rolls, this place still has the family feel to it. I go and order the gyoza, edamame, spicy tuna roll and jb salmon roll. Shrimp tempura is great! Lunch specials are the best way to try new things and find out what you like.
Yummy. Kevin’s is a great place to eat sushi and thai food, schmooze at the sushi bar and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Kevin’s food is awesome. We first met him when he was the sushi chef at Su-Shin and followed him 25 miles from home to Deerfield Beach. When Su-Shin lost all of their good sushi chefs, we spent over 1 year searching all of Broward for a decent sushi bar and finally found that Kevin had moved up to Deerfield. None of the other places could live up to Kevin’s quality. Although we live in Plantation, we travel to their place for the food, company and atmosphere. A+++++. If you are looking for a high end restaurant with a well-stocked wine bar, this isn’t it. Kevin makes his own pineapple or mango sake and that’s just fine. I travel 25 miles every Friday to Kevin’s for the sushi and my husband eats both the sushi and Thai food. Everything is good and the fish is extraordinarily fresh. He receives deliveries of fish at least twice a week and if it isn’t good, he doesn’t buy it. His demeanor is friendly and welcoming and we look forward to our Friday nights at his place. Great food, great service and friendly people. What more can you ask for?
