Don’t want my business!. Recently I tried Kilwins in Delray Beach and it was a great experience. So we were on our last day of our trip to FLA and I figured why not one more time. I went in and asked for 2 flavors in a single scoop only to be told this could not be done. When I told the employee I had done it 2 days earlier in Delray Beach, he said each was individually owned and that this was their policy. I proceeded to order 2 scoops and asked the gentleman for his scooper and made a portion in another cup that I wanted to eat. I am on Weight Watchers and since this is an indulgence to begin with, I saw no need to eat the amount served– this is why I asked for only one scoop. I expressed my displeasure with the gentleman serving and he said this was his owner’s decision. So, in the future please visit the Delray location which accommodates customers and boycott the Deerfield location which doesn’t care about the customer’s desire. I paid the $5.99 price for the double rather than the $4.20 price for the single only to throw away half of the portion. Makes no sense to me! Delray appeared much busier than Deerfield– gee I wonder why?
