Love this place! How can you beat a $1.50 Cuban coffee or a .64 ham croqueta? South Florida locals know to skip the expensive StarBucks and find a corner gas station like this with a walk up service counter. I don’t speak a word of spanish which is never a problem. foodiefrog.com
Our group of 4 each tried something different, and it was all very tasty. The mango shake was very good! We tried the steak plate, chicken plate, steak sandwich and a Cuban sandwich. The owner himself helped us understand what we were ordering, and talked and joked with us! There are shaded tables outside where you can sit and eat. After finishing my meal I went back up the window to order a mango shake. The owner had gone home, yet he saw me on the camera and called to thank me for eating there. It was reasonably priced, great taste, and a good experience!
