Unfortunately subpar food all around and service very slow. There are better places in the area. The pasta with chicken was flavorless and the salad had mainly lettuce. The pizza that our son ordered was very greasy and the dough was low quality. The only good thing was the bread.
I’m not certain I could recommend this restaurant. I ordered a Ceasar Salad and it was not a Ceasar Salad. I would describe it as a lazy salad. None of the ingredients were tossed together. They served VERY burnt croutons on top of the salad. Seriously? I immediately gave the salad back to the server. That made me think the chef and service didn’t have enough common sense and pride to refuse to serve a simple dish that was subpar.. I am shocked. It’s a minor dish but dinner special was okay. The Reisling was bland. It tasted like an old bottle.

Saturday Night Diner. Casual, pleasant atmosphere, nice music, food was okay. Could be a great place to eat with a little attention to customer service. They did not seem prepared for the large crowd that was at the restaurant, and the staff that was there did not seem to be well-trained. It took forever to get our food. I agree, no water offered. My friend ordered Calamari and there was only one sauce offered and the marinara sauce could be better seasoned.
I’ve read and I’ve heard,,,. Well I’ve read the previous persons review on here and I’ve heard a thing or two about this place so we had to come to Bella Cucina in Lake Helen and find out for our selves, let me tell you we found another new favorite place, now we’ve only been back to Bella Cucina a dozen or so times and were going to continue to keep coming back here. Shelly is our favorite waitress and she always remembers us, and the owner has even stopped by our table several times to greet us, Shelly always remembers our usual drink order and our favorite booth by the big window. I recommend the pizza but the menu has a vast selection and there is always daily lunch and dinner specials including slices to go. And keep your eye out they have great parties on select weekend nights with live music…
