Bad Reuben Sandwich. We go to Cook’s regularly and love it! The food quality has always been excellent, but today, St. Patrick’s Day 2015, the Reuben sandwich was the WORST SANDWICH we have ever had, and we are in our 70’s! We’ll continue to dine at Cook’s, but will NEVER again order a Reuben!! What a dissapointment!!!
Great soup. The chicken velvet is amazing, but I always stop by on Mondays when they have broccoli cheddar with some fresh grated cheddar on top that melts into stringy goodness! You have to get a slice of garlic bread with your soup, it compliments the soup very nicely.
Not happy with the buffet. Last time i checked buffet met u coulde eat all that u want to eat not pay more for meat who in thier right mind only wants to eat vegie and sald bar some people dont eat sald so that leaves them with not much food and to charge u 2.75 each time u want any of the meat they have on the buffet is crazy i will not go back ever again ill drive futher to have a better buffet and eat as much as i please with out extra charge
So delicious. I always get bread bowls of Red Velvet soup here. It is the best place in DeLand if you are craving soup and the only place I have found that will make you a giant bowl of Chili Mac. Sandwiches and desserts are pretty good here too. Go Here!
Great sandwich/soup shop!. This place has amazing sandwiches and a great selection of soups. It closes early though.
I love this place! it’s small and simple but the foods amazing!!!! my two favorites are the crispy chickin pita and stars cheeseburger. plus you can’t go wrong with the fries (: there chrispy and crunchy yummy goodness!! it’s great for lunch and I’ve never had a problem there! I say go!!!
