Excellent Soups and Sandwiches. Cook’s is one of those small town gems, tucked away in a quiet corner of downtown Deland…the sort of place that locals frequent and still doesn’t take anything but cash for payment. The food here is always fresh and always in my experience excellent. Of particular note, try the red velvet soup, it’s fantastic! Cozily appointed and small without being crowded, Cook’s exactly the type of place you should look to enjoy while visiting small towns like Deland. Affordable and well recommended.
