Tex-Mex – American – Mexican.. The menu has a number of options from Tex-Mex and American to full-on Mexican options. There was a 45 minute wait last night for dinner so you may want to call ahead and reserve. The steak was perfect! It was well above my expectations and filled with sabor! The rice and beans are very good. The servers are all very nice. The Gordo’s wet burrito and Carne Guisada were both good.Give it a visit for dinner.
Better options out there.. Definitely better mexican restaurants in the DeLand area.
Best mexican food in Deland. If you haven,t tried Mi Mexico of Deland Fl.,you are missing out. No matter what time of day my family and I drop in at Mi Mexico,the food is always hot and fresh. The service is outstanding. You are always greeted with a smile. We have never been disappointed. The restroom was a little dark but clean. Food,no matter what you order,is always good.

Nope. I’ve eaten here twice. First time, the tacos were just okay. Second time, the beef I had in my entree was plain, unseasoned, and dry, and tasted cheap. I was really disappointed and won’t be coming back. Good chips and salsa, though.

Always good servive. We have been eating here for 7 years the food is always good and they always have great customer service. Its one of the better Mexican food restaurants around.
