BIRTHDAY PARTY OF FIVE. The weather was beautiful, so we site outside. They moved around tables to accommodate us. The food was excellent. They gave us pita and hummus to start. One of our party required gluten free food. The checked and made sure that that person’s food was free of gluten and adjusts the menu offerings accordingly. Or server and the owner were all eager to please. Two people ordered the chops and those portions were enormous. Two people ordered scallops and those portions were tiny. The owner ordered more scallops to be brought (extra veggies as well). The birthday dessert was perfect. We would return. Don’t feel upset if an order was not satisfactory at first. Tell the server and they will accommodate.
Great Lunch. My boyfriend and I were new in town when we tried Bistro 241. Our waitress recommended the Chicken Avocado Club, it was awesome. My boyfriend ate the lamb burger, he enjoyed it. Overall, this place is trendy and modern style. We will be back!
Came here because of a recommendation and staff is completely clueless. All tables are complaining asking where the food is and they say that they didn’t expect a large amount of people today and are understaffed. Don’t run a business if you are a complete idiot.
NOT HAPPY. Made a reservation 2 weeks in advance for a special birthday party on New Years Eve – we were promised a special table – arrived on time to find not only our table NOT available – but no other table in the restaurant available. ( No apology and we were told you have to work with me on a night like this………..I would have completely understood that statement – Had we not made a reservation )…………. will NOT be going back!!!!!
We are big fans of Joseph’s Wine Bar across the street. When we found out that they were opening Bistro 241, we knew we had to try it. One word: Awesome. Everything we had was perfect: from the salmon, to the swordfish, to the filet mignon. We’ve been talking about this wonderful new restaurant for days. The owners are wonderful. Chef Gio came to greet everyone. The service was great. We’ll be regular visitors!
Nice. Yesterday was a soft opening for lunch and I happen to be cruising by on Pineapple Grove. The restaurant is family-owned and operated. I noticed their exquisite wine list and decided to have a soft, elegant Crianza. Upon reading their lunch menu, I noticed a double brisket burger with cheddar cheese. The burger was very delicious. To balance the meal, I opted for a garden salad instead of the sweet potato fries. The salad had spinach and other dark greens tossed in a house-made lemon vinegrette. An acquaintance joined me at the bar and shared a piece of my brisket. He also agreed it had a smooth, smoky, delicious flavor. This is a good sign of great things to come for a neighborhood gem. The owner, his son, and daughter were very hospitable, engaging, and comforting, I’ll be back.
